Environmental Stewardship

Frontier Surveying is committed to promoting practices consistent with environmental protection and sustainability. Our ultimate goal is to complete all projects, leaving no negative impacts on the worksite. We will make every effort to conduct all practices in an environmentally sound manner, and the support and participation of all employees and contractors is essential to the preservation of all work sites.

On Land

All waste produced in the process of completing assigned tasks is to be collected and stored in company vehicles or appropriate containers and properly disposed of upon completion of work. All vehicles will keep on established roadways whenever possible, limiting disruption and damage of vegetation and disturbance to wildlife and their habitats. All vehicles will be properly maintained in an effort to limit environmentally damaging pollutants and emissions.

In Water

All waste produced in the process of completing assigned tasks is to be collected and stored in company vessels and properly disposed of upon return to shore. All vessels will make every effort to avoid disturbing marine life and habitats while performing assigned tasks. No detergents or other chemicals will be used to disperse oil, fuel or sheen. These products can cause petroleum to sink into the water, resulting in harm to marine life and bottom sediments. All portable fuel containers will be securely fastened to the vessel while not in use to avoid accidental spills. All vessels will be properly maintained in an effort to limit environmentally damaging pollutants and emissions.

All our employees must comply with the above listed general requirements and maintain awareness of all environmental contaminants and impacts involved in completing assigned tasks. Company supervisors will promote work practices in an environmentally sound matter consistent with environmental protection and sustainability. Company management will continually monitor and review all environmental issues that may arise on Frontier Surveying job sites. Maintain and update all environmental policies as the need arises.
