Canada Bass promoted to CAD Manager
Canada joined the Frontier Surveying team in April 2014. After serving in the United States Air Force from 1992 to 2000 he began his surveying career and received his Arkansas Professional Surveyor License in June 2010. His expertise and background include AutoCAD, Land Surveying, Computer Programming, and now Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Job titles Canada has held in different organizations include Instrument Operator, Lead Survey Technician, and Crew Chief. His field experience, surveying knowledge, and proven computer skills have earned him the respect of our clients and our team.
His demonstrated ability has entitled him to the promotion to CAD Manager. We are confident he will continue to exhibit personal commitment to his profession, our services, and our team.
Frontier receives HR Awards from the Costal Bend SHRM, Dec. 2015
Frontier Surveying Co. and Ivy Young were recognized at the HR Awards hosted by the Coastal Bend Society for HR Management. Frontier Surveying Co. received the "Best Learning and Development Strategy" award and Ivy received the "Chief Floyd Simpson - Most People-Focused CEO" award.
Frontier Names Allen Kerley Project Manager in Corpus Christi
Allen Kerley, Texas RPLS #5427, has joined Frontier Surveying as the Project Manager, RPLS, located in our Corpus Christi office. Allen has 2 other survey licenses for Oaklahoma and Kansas and is TXDOT pre-certified. With a proven history of managing several projects in the oil and gas industry his experience ranges from West Texas gathering lines to major transmission lines and above facility work.
National Surveyors Week - March 16-22, 2014
We are supporting National Surveyors Week by participatig in the national benchmarks campaign on GPS Day March 22nd.

TSPS Symposium 2014
Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) Symposium 2014 in Lubbock Texas. Frontier Surveying had multiple attendees at this years symposium. TSPS Symposium is a 2 day educational conference designed to further the education and competence of professional land surveyors in Texas. Frontier employees attended seminars and classes including Boundaries Ethically Determined (presented by Ken Gold), Survey Math, Abstracting and Research: Skills for the Hunt, and Retraceable Legal Descriptions.
TSPS Convention 2013
Frontier Surveying sponsored several courses and events at the 2013 TSPS convention. TSPS is the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. Frontier Surveying taught a conference session at the 2013 ESRI user conference in San Diego. – Since we are a leader in designing and implementing mobile GIS services, our own Jorge Orozco conducted a demonstration and presentation on mobile GIS applications.
Frontier Wins Esri SAG Award
Frontier Surveying Receives Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award at the 2012 Esri International User Conference – By embracing geographic information system (GIS) technology, Frontier has used GIS to improve our world- and set new precedents throughout the GIS community.
The SAG Award ceremony is held at the annual Esri International User Conference and presided over by Jack Dangermond, the president and founder of Esri.
Recipients of the Special Achievement in GIS award was submitted by Esri staff from thousands of organizations worldwide, then personally reviewed and selected by Jack.
